The IPL fever is on...
The everyday debate in College. The Supporters, The Critics and The Indifferent ones (this category must get a life!), all doing their every bit to make their point heard!
Person 1:"Aaj to Rajasthan Jeetega! Shane Warne kya bowling dalta hai."
Person 2:"kya Ukhada usne 3 wicket leke??"
Person X: "Dude, this time it has to be Mumbai ya!"
Person Y: "Nahi Yaar, Hyderabad ka team dekh, Kya team hai, Gilchrist aur Gibbs! Aur kya chahiye!"
Person A: "You saw? Dada kaise out hogaya pehle match mein, khelna ata nahi to khelta kyun hai, that too wasting 2 Goddamn overs producing only one run, WTF!!"
Me : (hitting him hard in his back) "Shut up, A, Stop judging him right in match one!"(in vengeance, I hide the assignment of this person A, just prior to submission :P, i did return him, but only after the submission was over :D)
Person D: "Enough of IPL guys, how much have you done with Control Systems, portion's too vast! "
All of us: (ignoring him) "Whatever!"
Then there are people wearin T shirts of the teams they support, with Kolkata's Tee looking the best in the lot, black and yellow. Then the Mumbai Indians', the Blue tee with the Mumbai Indians icon, this Tee though is more popular here. and looks really fabulous!
Not only the students, the teachers too are gripped with the IPL fever, a teacher literally relieved us to catch up with the 4pm match!
On the whole IPL rocks the whole nation like a Calamity !! :D no matter where its played, here or abroad! :) What i like about IPL is the 'Unity in Diversity' that it brings in! And only thing i don't like about it is, its time. its scheduled just before our even sem exams and what makes it worst is 'no PL' !!! though it offers us great excuse for scoring not so good. :P
Will come up with more, soon. have to study for Machine design test scheduled tomo. :)

*IPL= Indian Premier League ( get a life, if you dinno this)
**PL= Preparation Leave (do Engineering to experience its useless-ness)
